If you weren’t able to visit Virtual Viewing at the 2010 MIPIM conference and exhibition in Cannes, you will have missed our latest 3d modelling showreel.
A brief extract of this latest project is shown below, demonstrating just part of our work in developing a 3d virtual city model of the City of Bratislava, where we are working in partnership with the local authority and a range of developers to create a 3d representation of this rapidly evolving capital city using our Massive Scale Modelling technology.
A major programme of work in progress, our work with Bratislava captures and demonstrates our ability to produce a 3d model of a capital city, involving the modelling of 30,000 buildings. After demonstrating the extent of the 3d model (as shown in this extract), the full showreel includes hi-res flythroughs of the streets of Bratislava and their historic setting that brings the city to life in ways that 2d imagery simply cannot capture. (The full showreel has been developed and rendered in 1080p HD video – you can see this extract and other 3d modelling examples on our YouTube channel.)
